Foundry works with an integrated system in Akis. Datas obtained by R&D department are turned into drawings by designers. Revealed designs are modeled on CNC machines with high machining accuracy within itself.
Akis has automated casting line which is available in a limited number of plants in the world. All the processes from mould preparation to mould/die parting are performed in computer controlled automatic casting line untouched by human hands.
Akis performs casting of ever part in different dimensions and sizes in international standards. Akis performs cast iron and nodular cast irons which can make ready 9 tons of metal per hour in every single ladle of two 4500 kw induction furnaces.
In two 500 kg induction furnaces, metal prepared for high quality bronze casting is casted with centrifugal technique in a more homogenous and tighter structure.
